Last week’s singapore national’s held at ski360 was an event that you wished you had never missed because that was when and when all the the Top singaporean wakeboarders went to compete against each other in a nail-biting competition!

All our 5 riders representing Reverie was there flying the flags up high during the event and all did extremely well. The singapore nationals was a comp that all our riders have been training and preparing for throughout the year and most of them were ready to represent when the day came.

Our first female rider Neesa competed in the women’s open category and she claimed the 2nd position! Neesa sticked a very clean run and her hard work really paid off when she did a really clean kicker Raley in one of her tricks which blew everyone off. A really well deserved win for Neesa and we’re proud of you! Neesa has brought up the standards of women wakeboarding to another level and we believe that she’ll be able to go further for we see lots of potential in her! Do look out for her!

Due to the tough training and preparation for the comp, Adiel faced an injury a week before the competition but that didn’t stop him from competing! He gave his best despite advice by his fellow team mates to give it a break. With and injured ankle he sticked a super clean and massive run and clinched his way to the finals! Imagine landing tricks such as the s-bend and the blind judge with an injured ankle..Just a true definition to the meaning of Each Cut Above! He is recovering well now however he’ll be off from the water till he recovers so all you better wait for his return!

Our soldier Mirza Ariffin was on hiatus due to his training and commitments to the country but that didnt stop from competing though he was short on trainings! Nevertheless it didn’t stop him from competing in the Singapore National’s alongside his team mates. Mirza known for his spins, press and style on the water lived up to his name sticking a clean, stylish and a hell loads of spins in his run. Tricks as crazy as the frontside 540 reverse 360 blind out on the funbox and dragon was being executed and that placed him very well in the LCQ. Proud of you soldier!

Farnaim also known as Naim; our one and only wakeskater in the team showed everyone the real deal on during the competition! Known by the cable rats as a crazy wakeskater he showed everyone what he is capable of. His trainings came off well when he sticked a really clean run. Shoving his board up and down the obstacles, he did pulled the crowd off their chairs landing tricks such as the backside bigspin and etc. He ended his round with a clean kickflip which blew everyone off with a standing ovation! He clinched his way to the 2nd placing for the Open wakeskate category. Still known as the people’s champ and the kid with lots of potential!
Alongside Naim is also his older brother fahkrudin also know as din. Din has been training real hard for this comp for he knows that he’ll be going against competitor as tough as Singapore top rider Max Christian and etc. Din’s focus, determination and trainings came off well when he gave a brave and massive fight! Landing massive and crazy tricks such as the FS313 and the Whirly-Bird, he gave top riders in singapore a tough fight. Indeed, he got his really well-deserved 1st placing which crowns him as the number 1 wakeboarder in Singapore! Not only that, he was also crowned the number 1 wakeskater in Singapore as well! For his win we are proud to announce that Fahkrudin will be representing both Reverie and Singapore in the world championship in Beijing some time this year so all of you guys stay tune!
Reverie was also one of the supporting sponsors for the event and we would like to take this opportunity to thank the organizers for the opportunities and support. Also, a million cheers and props to Lion City Cable Team (LCCT) and everyone who came down to throw their support for the game and Reverie as well! It was great too see you guys wearing the Reverie wake shirts. We wouldn’t have made it to where we are if it wasn’t for you guys! As for now keep shredding and stay tune guys!
